In fact our homes are superior to many site built homes. Look carefully
at the specifications of our homes compared to others. Many builders
are fairly ambiguous about how their homes are built. We are not.
The fact is, as an experienced Realtor and
Real Estate Appraiser for over fourteen years I can assure you that what
we offer is not a cheap house, but a very well built home that will be
a great investment.
There is a wide range of quality in both
builders and modular homes. Be sure you do your research!
Just because it’s built on your site does not make it better. In fact
there are many places that builders can cut corners that you may not be
aware of. Ask as many questions as you can. What brand of
cabinets? What size wall studs? What kind of carpet pad?
Why texture the ceiling? Silly questions? You may be surprised.
There are many modular homes that are built
by the same people that build manufactured homes, which use many of the
same materials. Certainly they cost less, however repairing or replacing
some items can be difficult and overall quality suffers.
